About Me

Mike enjoys painting a variety of subject matter in both pastels and oils. Born in Colorado, raised in England, he has spent the last 43 years in Wyoming. Mike’s work has won several awards in both regional and national exhibits and his paintings hang in private collections around the world. He has been selected three times in the Pastel Journal's Top 100 Annual Competition for his portrait, figurative and still life work. Mike is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of Colorado; he is also a member of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and the Degas Pastel Society.

Hello Mike!
What wonderful art! Mom and I are sitting here admiring all of your paintings. We recall a wonderful trip to Europe back in 1990 where we had the pleasure of meeting your family. My mother, Cecile Gagnon recollects with fondness her happy moments spent with all of you and in particular, the boys!
