Finally got in and made some revisions....I also changed the tail a bit by adding a few more feathers to the top part...I'll look at this for a while to see if anything needs to be changed and get it framed !!

This is really lovely, Mike. Cannot find the words to praise it enough!
But I'm not sure if the 'work in progress' idea works comfortably on a daily basis. I know other artists who are doing it but from a viewers point of view it can be a bit tedious. That is just my own opinion ... and I would rather see the stages posted in 'sets' rather than just one per day.
But that does not detract from the fascination of seeing how you go about it, or from the excellence of the finished painting!
