Monday, December 11, 2006 One of the ornaments from a set that was made by K & W Glass Works in North Bergen, N.J. We purchased the box of "Shiny Brite" ornaments at an estate sale in Colorado. This was the smallest and most delicate in the set.

Mike enjoys painting a variety of subject matter in both pastels and oils. Born in Colorado, raised in England, he has spent the last 43 years in Wyoming. Mike’s work has won several awards in both regional and national exhibits and his paintings hang in private collections around the world. He has been selected three times in the Pastel Journal's Top 100 Annual Competition for his portrait, figurative and still life work. Mike is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of Colorado; he is also a member of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and the Degas Pastel Society.
