Mike enjoys painting a variety of subject matter in both pastels and oils. Born in Colorado, raised in England, he has spent the last 43 years in Wyoming. Mike’s work has won several awards in both regional and national exhibits and his paintings hang in private collections around the world. He has been selected three times in the Pastel Journal's Top 100 Annual Competition for his portrait, figurative and still life work. Mike is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of Colorado; he is also a member of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and the Degas Pastel Society.

Mike, hello, I just vsit the "Loveland Art Academy" and find this "Mike's work has won several awards in pastel and watercolor in both regional and national exhibits since 1971 and his work hangs in private collections around the world. He has been in the Pastel Journal's Top 100 for 2005 and just recently selected for 2007 for his portrait and figurative work. Mike is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of Colorado; he is also a member of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies."
I have only to say : CONGRATULATIONS!! Mike, your art is in my oppinion one of the bests in DPG, I enjoy every morning from your paintings here.
