This study is on a piece of the Canson board/paper with an oil wash of TOR over a coat of sand pumice gel....make sense? It did provide an interesting texture to work on.

Studio is finally finished and starting to get back into a regular schedule.

The following portrait is another one done on the textured gator board (textured with polymer medium) from Dick Blick. I did use some turp to do an initial pastel wash with glazes on top.
